The Oz Experience in Chicago: Escape the Wicked Glitch!

Step into the world of Oz with The Oz Experience, an outdoor escape-room-style adventure where you become the hero of the story. Explore the city by solving puzzles, following musical clues, and uncovering hidden stories as you try to outsmart the witch before time runs out.

Play solo or team up with friends, compete on the leaderboard, and even join a costume contest. The experience is inspired by L. Frank Baum’s original 1900 novel and turns the city into the Emerald City with original music and immersive storytelling.

The activity lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is recommended for ages 14 and up; children under 14 can participate with an adult. A smartphone with an internet connection is required. The starting point is the Chicago History Museum. The experience is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.
