Privacy policy

Gate Finder (gatefinder.online) is a showcase of events, experiences and activities offered by its affiliate partners: it does not sell tickets and has no accounts, forms, newsletters or payments, so it collects very little data. The controller is the site operator, who can be reached at info@gatefinder.online.

What we do not do

• We do not ask for your name, e-mail, phone number or payment details.
• We use no analytics, advertising or profiling tools and set no tracking cookies.
• We do not load fonts, scripts or images from external services while you browse.

What we record when you open an offer

When you press a button that takes you to the partner's website (for example Fever) you go through one of our redirect addresses. At that moment we record only: date and time, the event chosen, the page of our site you came from (path only), any campaign parameters in the link and the type of device (phone, tablet or computer). We do not record your IP address, we set no cookie and we assign you no code: clicks cannot be linked to a person. We also count, in aggregate per day, how many times each event page is viewed.

This is used to count clicks and check partner commissions. To avoid counting a double click twice, for 5 seconds we keep in memory (never written to disk) a code computed from the request data, which then disappears.

The partner's website

After the click you leave Gate Finder: the partner's website handles your data under its own privacy notice. Buttons to partners are affiliate links (marked “sponsored”): Gate Finder is funded by commissions from its affiliate partners and, if you buy, may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We pass the partner only a technical click identifier, not personal data.

Location map (OpenStreetMap)

The map on an event page is a picture that our server builds from OpenStreetMap data: your browser does not contact OpenStreetMap, which receives neither your IP address nor any other data of yours. If you click the map or “Open in OpenStreetMap” you leave Gate Finder and the OpenStreetMap site handles your data under its own policy (OpenStreetMap privacy policy).

Hosting and server logs

The site runs on a server where the hosting provider keeps ordinary technical access logs (including the IP address) for security and operation.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of data about you by writing to info@gatefinder.online, and you may complain to your data protection authority. Because we record no data that could identify you, in many cases we will not be able to link anything to you.
