Celtic Connections Presents: Astro Bloc and support

Find tickets for the Astro Bloc concert in Glasgow at Saint Luke's. This quartet brings a bold new energy to the folk tradition, blending Scottish and Irish influences with adventurous contemporary sounds, featuring soaring fiddle melodies, driving percussion, and inventive arrangements.

The group consists of musicians Eryn Rae, Paul Jennings, Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, and Gillie Ó Flaherty. Audiences can expect a dynamic performance that combines modern rhythmic ideas with rich acoustic textures, pushing far beyond the expected boundaries of folk music.

The event is for ages 14 and over; those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket prices include a restoration levy that directly supports the maintenance of Saint Luke's, the third oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836.
