Bach in Space | Leipzig

The Bach in Space event combines the music of Johann Sebastian Bach with images of the cosmos. During the evening, original NASA and ESA footage featuring galaxies and planets is projected onto a large screen, accompanied by live piano performances of Bach's works, including excerpts from The Well-Tempered Clavier, the Goldberg Variations, and the Italian Concerto.

The piano performance is by Mona Asuka. The concert lasts 75 minutes and takes place at the Gewandhaus. Admission is for ages 6 and up, and the venue is accessible. Doors open one hour before the start of the performance.
