Altes Museum

Explore the fascinating world of antiquity at the Altes Museum, located on Berlin's famous Museum Island. This museum houses a rich collection of Etruscan art, Greek pottery, and ancient statues, including famous historical representations.

The Münzkabinett, located within the museum, holds over 1,400 coins ranging from the 7th century BC to the 3rd century AD, along with 15th-century medals and medieval seals.

The admission ticket includes access to all exhibitions. The upper floor opens at 11:00. Students must present a valid ID at the entrance. Children and teenagers under 18 have free entry but still require a ticket. You can reach the museum by S-Bahn, U-Bahn, or bus, stopping at Friedrichstraße or Hackescher Markt.
