Visit to the towers of La Rochelle

Discover the Tours de La Rochelle and delve into the city's maritime history. These medieval towers, comprising the Tour Saint-Nicolas, the Tour de la Lanterne, and the Tour de la Chaîne, once served as port guardians, lighthouses for transatlantic ships, and prisons for pirates and political captives.

Climb to the top of one of the towers to enjoy views of the Atlantic coast. The visit lasts 90 minutes. Due to the many stairs, this tour is not accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Admission is free for those under 18, EU citizens and French residents aged 18 to 25, disabled persons with a companion, job seekers, and ICOM cardholders, provided a valid ID or proof of eligibility is presented.
